Happy Ramadan! These are my new favorite cookies! These cookies taste so spectacular too. I used Rose water and Orange Blossom water in the cookies and the icing. When I baked them the whole house smelled like a Lebanese Bakery.

My goodness these are gorgeous!! You are incredibly talented. I'm so glad I stumbled across your blog.

I've always wanted to try decorating cookies with royal icing. These cookies are really inspirational.

Thanks Amnah, I'm sure your cookies would look great too, go for it!

Here's a nice tutorial from Annie's eats, while I don't use exactly the same technique, but it's close enough.

thanks for the comment, and I laugh at the thought of thinking about my sugar and then coming here and seeing these delicious looking cookies. The smell of anything sweet baking is just so amazing.
I have to admit that I have fallen off the wagon, but not completely. My intake of it has drastically gone down. It's not a daily treat anymore, and I feel much better for it. I would however have one of your cookies right now if I could.
