Arabic Coffee

I made these to give to friends to sample. I saw Tea Party cookies on Sweetopia that I love, and then I thought to make these Arabic coffee themed cookies. Arabic coffee is very similar to espresso, but made differently, and often includes cardamom. There is also another kind that is less commonly made in some parts of the middle east, that uses lightly roasted coffee beans and lots of cardamom, that coffee is actually yellow instead of brown after it's brewed. Like espresso, Arabic coffee is served in demitasse cups.
-
The bigger cookies are antique brass Arabic coffee pots, I dusted them with copper pearl dust to make them a little shiny. The cups replicate the most commonly used demitasse coffee cups in Lebanon, and other parts of the middle east (I'm American/Lebanese btw). I really love these cookies and it was really satisfying to make something from my culture into cookies.

All tied up, with a card.

Birthday Cookies

Birthday cookies ordered for a special girl who likes the color orange. Originally I was going to make stripes on the stars and then I thought it would be fun to make candles instead. Loved making these, and I'm looking forward to trying out some more ideas that I have on the next birthday order.

A bag of H bites.

Baby Boy Cookies, Blue and Brown

I was happy to make these two sets of baby boy cookies. A woman ordered them for two of her nephews, in two different states, that both have new baby boys, Congrats if your reading! I hadn't had a chance to use this color combination yet, and I love the way they came out. I forgot to take a picture of them all wrapped up, but I tied the bags with blue and brown ribbon. I shipped these two cookie sets, which I haven't really done so much yet. I packaged them really well, maybe even too well, and I'm crossing my fingers hoping they get to their destinations on time and in good condition.

Thank You cookies for the woman who ordered them, since she wouldn't get to taste the ones she ordered for her nephews.

Girl's Party Favors and Introducing Vegan Cookie Favors!

These were made for my niece's party. All the girls loved them and I really enjoyed making them. These flowers must be my favorite thing to decorate, I just have so many design ideas for them. We did Flowers, crowns and butterflies.

VEGAN COOKIES
There was some kids with allergies to different things at the party, so I decided to test this Vegan recipe. They use vegan butter, vegan sugar, egg replacers, soy milk, and a little bit of vegan sour cream. You can call these nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, and an added bonus of using the vegan butter is they are also cholesterol free! Sounds boring huh? They actually tasted really good though, and believe it or not some people even told me they tasted better than the regular recipe! They only difference was the icing colors, they dried much lighter than I wanted them to be, and the purple turned into blue, I think it had to do with the soy milk in the icing. For next time I will have to make sure to punch up the colors to make sure they are as bright as I want them.

All the cookies wrapped up and ready to go. The vegan ones are in the box in the back.
