Texas!

I've been seeing alot of Texas and western themed cookies around, and I was happy to get a chance to make some myself. These were ordered for a wonderful Texas man's birthday, by his equally wonderful New Englander wife.

Half the fun of decorating cookies for me is coming up with the design and sketching it out. This is my take on the Texas shaped Texas flag cookie.

Thanks so much to Annie for ordering! I loved making them <3>

Hi Heba. I love these. Do you cut the cookies out yourself or do you use a cutter? Also how did you print the name? With frosting or with an edible marker? Thanks so much. Lorraine

Thanks Laurie, I'm so happy to get the Texas girl stamp of approval:) I kinda have a crush on TX after making these.

Thanks Lorraine, I used a cookie cutter. Then name is royal icing, I used the wet on wet technique, that's why it could look like marker I guess.

These look great Heba! I love the state in the star and the stitching is a perfect finishing touch!
