Girlie Birthday Cookies
These were for my adorable niece Ayah on her 3rd birthday. She picked out her birthday decorations and plates etc. and I made these cookies and cake to match. The colors made me so excited, I love rainbow and neon anything.
Here you can see the plate that I got the designs for the cookies and the cake from.
I'm no cake decorator, but I decided to give it a try and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I made the cake decorations with the same royal icing I use on the cookies. I piped them onto wax paper and the next day right before the party I peeled them off and stuck them on the cake.
It's strawberry cake with a couple extra drops of electric pink gel paste food coloring to make it super pink. I also added in a couple handfuls of rainbow sprinkles to make it a confetti cake. I made chocolate buttercream from scratch for the first time in my life. It tasted great and much better than the store bought frosting.

Birthday Cookies
Birthday cookies ordered for a special girl who likes the color orange. Originally I was going to make stripes on the stars and then I thought it would be fun to make candles instead. Loved making these, and I'm looking forward to trying out some more ideas that I have on the next birthday order.

Girl's Party Favors and Introducing Vegan Cookie Favors!
These were made for my niece's party. All the girls loved them and I really enjoyed making them. These flowers must be my favorite thing to decorate, I just have so many design ideas for them. We did Flowers, crowns and butterflies.
VEGAN COOKIES
There was some kids with allergies to different things at the party, so I decided to test this Vegan recipe. They use vegan butter, vegan sugar, egg replacers, soy milk, and a little bit of vegan sour cream. You can call these nut-free, egg-free, dairy-free, and an added bonus of using the vegan butter is they are also cholesterol free! Sounds boring huh? They actually tasted really good though, and believe it or not some people even told me they tasted better than the regular recipe! They only difference was the icing colors, they dried much lighter than I wanted them to be, and the purple turned into blue, I think it had to do with the soy milk in the icing. For next time I will have to make sure to punch up the colors to make sure they are as bright as I want them.

All the cookies wrapped up and ready to go. The vegan ones are in the box in the back.
