These cookies were made last year as a parting gift for Idrees's favorite NICU nurses. The BWH is for Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the I is for Idrees. Some were made into oversized favors like pictured above for specific people. I also made big trays of mini's to put near the coffee machine as a treat for everyone. I made them in one night, so it was a bit of a rush job. If I had more time I would have made the BWH much nicer or even the hospitals actual logo.

Birthday Sweets
I made this cake and cake truffles for Idrees's birthday. The cake is blue velvet with chocolate buttercream and a chocolate buttercream ricotta filling. The decorations are royal icing transfers that I made to match the hanging decorations and paper goods. The truffles are the same blue velvet cake covered in a rich semisweet chocolate ganache. Both were enjoyed and it was a rewarding experience to make my little boy's first birthday cake.

More Baby Boys
I had a really hectic week, but I still managed to make these baby boy cookies on time. The rattles are chocolate sugar cookies, there's mini chocolate chips in them too :) Thanks Carol for ordering again :-)

Baby Boy Cookies, Blue and Brown
I was happy to make these two sets of baby boy cookies. A woman ordered them for two of her nephews, in two different states, that both have new baby boys, Congrats if your reading! I hadn't had a chance to use this color combination yet, and I love the way they came out. I forgot to take a picture of them all wrapped up, but I tied the bags with blue and brown ribbon. I shipped these two cookie sets, which I haven't really done so much yet. I packaged them really well, maybe even too well, and I'm crossing my fingers hoping they get to their destinations on time and in good condition.
Thank You cookies for the woman who ordered them, since she wouldn't get to taste the ones she ordered for her nephews.
